La Candela throws to the entire world its first musical production entitled “On Fire”.
Twelve tracks full of danceable salsa, seasoned with a well-kept blend of rhythms that will not leave indifferent to the dance audience. On the one hand, there are six versions of the most danceable songs of Joe Cuba Sextet, respecting the original arrangements and trying not to lose the essence of these masterful compositions. In addition, six issues of authorship itself most notably “Es Guaguancó” and “Para Ella”, two singles that have already traveled the dance floors of half the world. Other songs like “Sin Ti” or “Lo Que Traigo” are emerging as strong candidates to follow the trail drawn.
Also La Candela dares with pachanga in “La Pachanga del Barrio” and boogaloo in “Baby Come Back”, two genres that are regaining importance in the world of Latin dance music.
La Candela is an orchestra of seven musicians where youth and seniority intermingle. In their first two years of life, they have managed to make a gap between the dancers’ preferences, and they came to be very successful, among others, in La Gran Fiesta in Karlsruhe (Germany) and the Benidorm Salsa Congress, one of the most important state and world level.

hey move between the primitive and the new, rescuing musical treasures and offering well-deserved tributes to some of the great pioneers of the Afro-Cuban music, such as Tito Rodriguez or Frank Grillo “Machito”.

It consists of 12 tracks, 6 of them brand new originals, containing guaguancó, son, mambo and pachanga. With brilliant collaborations like the Original Big Band in “Tremendo Cumban” or Manuel Angel Lorenzo “Mangui” with a spectacular arrangement of the song of Danny Daniel “Déjame Que Cante”.

Without a doubt On Time is the second big bet of this Canarian band willing to offer something different within the salsa genre.
